One of our core skills: asset management for institutional clients
Our Asset Management team manages direct institutional mandates, retail and institutional funds of Bank Sarasin and third parties, as well as the subfunds of the Sarasin Investment Foundation. We currently manage CHF 26.9 billion on behalf of institutional clients (as at 31 December 2010).
We offer institutional investors the choice of different, innovative investment styles, ranging from fundamental, through semi-quantitative to purely quantitative approaches:
- fundamental approaches: sustainable and thematic approach
- semi-quantitative approaches based both on quantitative tools and our in-house research
- quantitative asset management based on sophisticated models
All investment approaches incorporate rigorous and systematic risk management and risk control processes.
To ensure an objective, transparent and comprehensive overview for potential clients, we present our performance presentation in compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®).
The institutional mandates of the Swiss based asset management departments within the Division "Asset Management, Products and Sales" of Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd are defined as the "Firm" and claim compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®).
